Instructor – Sean Dahlen
Sean Dahlen is a teacher, storyteller, and wellness advocate. Since 2003, he has taught yoga in various forms along a constantly unfolding path, from a studio he directed in China, to a holistic health center in Thailand, along the beaches of Portugal and Brasil, mountain retreats in Japan, and around his hometown in Delaware.
Group Lessons emphasize breath as the foundation, correct postural alignment, safe/sustainable technique, and playful reminders to stay centered in the heart. Sean’s classes have been called “slow flow” by some, drawing on elements of Vinyasa, but slowed down to address detail and achieve depth. He hopes to empower each student to cultivate their own personal practice, tailoring his guidance for individual needs. In the physical hatha yoga practices, his most influential teachers have followed the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya and his proteges, Pattabhi Jois, BKS Iyengar, and TKV Desikachar.
